Rising Tide Music NY was founded by Duke Covone, who began playing guitar later in life, mentored by Westchester drummer Gary Schwartz. He took over the Legendary Tuesday Jam and has been central in building its musical community. Duke leads a classic rock band and serves as the house band leader for weekly jams, emphasizing creative chemistry, discipline, and an entertainer-first approach.

His musical influences include growing up next to Rudy Isley of The Isley Brothers, weekly visits to see Les Paul at Fat Tuesday’s in NYC, a lifelong love of British rock, and deep roots in blues and R&B. Duke is fortunate enough to be surrounded by committed regional artists who support his vision.

Because of these experiences, I feel deeply compelled to nurture the next generation of artists. I understand firsthand the challenges musicians face today—trying to make a living, build an audience, and monetize their work. I want to help.
